To me, this photo of the head of a sandstone Buddha statue nestled in the tree roots represents how what sees through our eyes and hears through our ears is there in everything – even if our perception of it is overgrown by the veils of ignorance. Anyway, this stat(u)e of mind is to be found beside the minor chapels of Wat Maha That, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand (and everywhere else, of course). The temple is one of more popular tourist and photographic attractions in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ayutthaya, an ancient capital of Siam.
