The hilarious moment a parrot perches on a TV reporter’s shoulder during a live broadcast about crime and insecurity – before stealing his earpiece and flying off with it.

Chilean newsman Nicolas Krumm was live on air, talking about burglaries, when the ‘feathered devil’ landed on his shoulder and stole his earphones.
The reporter is seen motioning to his cameraman to make sure he focused on the unexpected guest. Then, after the inglorious act happens, he snatches at the bird to retrieve the earphones, but the animal manages to fly away with it.
‘It’s just taken my earpiece,’ the reporter is heard saying.
‘The parrot had been watching us from railings nearby and I think my earpiece had got its attention because you can see it looking at it out of the corner of its eye before it takes it’, he explained later.
However, the reporter was later able to retrieve the device because the parrot had dropped it.
