Bigfoot or not? We seem to have the final answer.

Despite its grainy quality and brief runtime, enthusiasts consider it to be the most significant short film ever produced – because it features Bigfoot, or so they believe.
If you are familiar with it, you can likely visualize the Patterson-Gimlin film, which features a shadowy, slow-moving, hirsute being strolling through the wild terrain, and at a particular moment, glancing directly at the camera.
Anyway let’s look at it again. The part in question starts at 2:12.
The footage was captured by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin, who assert that on October 20, 1967, they discovered the hairy creature squatting near Bluff Creek. According to their account, they pursued the figure before capturing footage of it sauntering and gazing back at the camera at a certain point.
Despite being widely viewed as a hoax by the scientific community, the footage remains a beloved item among Bigfoot fans. Now, according to a recent post on Twitter, experts used AI and computer vision to stabilize the popular footage, almost definitely confirming that it is indeed a hoax. Without the camera instability, we essentially see a figure walking around in an ape-like suit.
Here’s this new, enhanced version, stabilized by AI.
And here is a pre-AI stabilization, for comparison.

As one commenter noted, “the stabilizing and high definition only makes it more obvious how the entire the entire upper thigh of this thing bends and creases with every step it takes. Almost as if it were a suit of some sort. Hard to miss once it’s pointed out.”
The video has been put under such scrutiny before. A researcher – a believer of Bigfoot actually – purportedly detected a type of fastening device around the waist of the creature by magnifying frames of the footage through a photocopier in 1999.
“When the guy in the suit turned to look at the camera, it probably snapped loose and dangled from the fur,” Cliff Crook, who still believed in Sasquatch after calling the footage fake, told Wired in 1999. “It’s a hoax. Why would Bigfoot be wearing a belt buckle?”
We cannot but agree.
