Even Google’s Image Recognition API Thought This Photo is of a Concert Crowd

Now, do you recognize what this is?

No, it’s not Tomorrowland or a gigantic rock concert. No, not even close. The photo above was taken by @micah.b.horn and it actually shows several industrial cotton harvesting machines doing a night shift.

If you thought you’re seeing a concert crowd too, don’t feel too bad. After the photo went viral  on reddit, a programmer had a brilliant idea and ran it through Google’s Cloud Vision API. Believe it or not, even the machine was fooled! The top three results were ‘crowd’, ‘festival’ and ‘stage’. See the original tweet below.
